The GenevaRocks association offers indoor and outdoor climbing courses and private lessons for all levels and ages, in Geneva and elsewhere. It is a member of Genève Montagne.

While respecting everyone’s pace, the transmission of technical and safety knowledge is at the heart of GenevaRocks’ activity in order to allow participants to gain autonomy and be aware of their abilities and responsibilities. The association encourages encounters between people of different origins and languages, family climbing, as well as the respect and protection of nature. Exceptional courses

In 2020, GenevaRocks offers exceptional courses in collaboration with other professionals from the region. We have chosen them for their personal qualities and their approach which goes beyond traditional teaching. They will allow you to better ground your climbing and to open new perspectives. 

Warrior’s Way® Course – Falling and Engagement, with Vincent Hentsch of Mouskif, Friday 28 February, 18:00-22:00 at Vitam’Parc: This mental preparation course, which is based on the book The Rock Warrior’s Way, tackles the fear of falling and improves engagement in climbing. Price: 90 CHF for 4h. To learn more and to register, please click here. 

Yoga Climbing Course, with Pierrick Hotellier of Essaimance, from 29 May to 1st of June in Aosta Valley:  Two universes which apparently differ but have a common quest: To discover a new balance in daily life, to advance on our self-discovery path through presence, contemplation and the freedom of our body and rediscovered senses. Dance Climbing Course, with Virginie Crettenand of l’école d’escalade, date to be confirmed following registrations, 10:00-13:00 at Vitam’Parc: Elegance and physical effort are going hand-in-hand in dance climbing, which challenges laws of physics and plays with gravity. Take a look at the new “Grimper en sécurité” manual (in French) and at the Petzl’s tech tips and their belay better campaign to check whether your knowledge with regards to security in climbing is up-to-date!

New infrastructures for kids

The new bouldering gym in Monthey which has a separate bouldering, maze and trampoline area and other activities specially designed for kids, opened its doors on 29 July 2019!

Totem Escalade in Versoix also has an excellent play space for children, it’s just a pity that its access is difficult with smaller kids.
