Brigitt Altwegg has been passionate about climbing for over twenty years and she has been in the mountains since she was born. She is a federally certified climbing instructor trained by the Swiss Association of Mountain Guides, a Youth and Sport (J+S) expert and a certified instructor of the Caruso Method. She also holds a Certificate in Adulte Learning. A former national competitor and former trainer/coach of Genèvescalade‘s junior team, she has been teaching climbing for the past 15 years. She is a co-founder of GenevaRocks and the Swiss Rock Guides Association, and a member of the Intercantonal Mountain Guides Association (IKBV). She is trilingual (French, German and English), works also in another job and is a mother.
